Chek cheung skor is a delicious easy-to-make traditional Cambodian dessert, which is simply prepared with banana and sugar.

  • 8 small bananas , ripe
  • cups sugar
  • Water
  1. Peel the bananas and place them in a non-stick pot.
  2. Cover the bananas with water and cook for 10 minutes over medium/low heat.
  3. Remove the bananas using a skimmer and mix the sugar in the cooking water.
  4. Cook the sugar over low heat until it turns light brown.
  5. Place the bananas in the sugar, add 3 tablespoons of boiling water, and boil until the sauce becomes sticky.
